Our Garnì is a family run business, it has been recently renewed and offers hospitality all the year round.
It is situated in Sottoguda, a lovely village, its setting is the wonderful scenery of Dolomites, at the foot of Marmolada.The name of our garni comes from the extraordinary narrow valley “ Serrai”, which is within a stone’s throw and that with a breathtaking distance of 2 km leads to Malga ciapela. Our setting is perfect for whom is searching the direct contact with mountain and its tranquillity and silence.
Marmolada is the heaving of skiing. Ski slopes are 2 km far from Garnì ad are reachable by skibus; from Malga Ciapela start the cableway which reaches Marmolada (3342 m), also called the “ Queen of Dolomites” and the other lifts which link our area with Arabba and “Carosello “ of Dolomiti Superski. Moreover in Malga Ciapela You can go in for cross- country skiing in a circular race track in the wood in a fantastic scenery. At the end of the day, You can come back skiing along “Serrai”, this valley becomes more fascinating in winter because there are iced faces, which are an attraction for ice climbers. And then there are itineraries for “ciaspe”, alpine skiing for people who want to live nature in a very wild way. |
Services | Our rooms are simply furnished, they are very comfortable and equipped with bathroom, phone, tv sat, hair dryer and almost each room has a balcony . Breakfast is complete and delicious, carefully prepared to suit all the palates. In our bar You can relax tastig our specialities. We have also a heated warehouse for skis and ski-boots, bikes and climbing equipment. Next to the garnì, you can find “ La Botega”, our minimarket which offers a lot of products for example foodstuff, products for personal treatment, tjpical product and gift packets.
