Agriturismo Collelignani is at the feet of Mount Giove along the Via Francigena, in the medieval village of Eggi, 2km away from Flaminia Road and 5km from Spoleto. Here you can still breathe an ancient atmosphere, where peace and silence surround the vegetation, rich in olive trees and Mediterranean bush. The village of Eggi has ancient origins: it was a Comune until Napoleonic Age. There are still some ancient remains, such as the 14th century Castle, that can be reached through two ancient gates in the boundary wall that defended the village. There are many small churches and chapels among the charming maze of lanes, recalling old tales.
Agriturismo Collelignani lies in 50 hectares of land, directly grown by the owners, who have decided to dedicate the ancient farmhouse to their hosts, restructuring the houses in country style, in order to let everybody know and appreciate the peasant life, that has had a great importance in the history of our Country.
In Casale Rosso there are 9 charming and comfortable apartments, with private entrance and a private open space (such as veranda, terrace or garden) to rest during hot months without renouncing privacy.
Apartments are for an occupancy of 2 up to 4 people in double rooms. They all have a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchenette to prepare home-made dinners…tasting our products!
Our hosts can relax by the 8x16 m swimming pool, submerged in the greenery, sipping a drink…on the house! In the morning, lovers of sport may attend our “muscular awakening” on the grass (on request; minimum 4 participants): simple exercises helping to limber up muscles. It is necessary to wear a swimming cap to bath in the swimming pool (available at the desk at the price of 2€).
