The agriturismo "La Collina delle Stelle" was in ancient times the last host place for travellers and pelgrims directed by feet to the Sanctuary of La Verna.
It is a huge estate of more than 400 hectares fram land and forest at the border of the National Park of the Casentino Forests, province of Arezzo.
The farmhouse has all around large green areas, meadows, woods, swimmingpool with panoramic view over the valley, children playground, stable with riding-track, cowhouse, fence for the donkeys and a bush for the pigs.
The agriturismo is isolated on the top of a green hill, but nevertheless not very far away from the main road, where you can find a busstop, and it can be reached easily by feet.
The central position of our farm house gives art and culture lovers the possibility to visit in the surroundings, for example the Sanctuaries of La Verna and Madonna del Sasso, the historic centres of Bibbiena, Poppi with the beautiful castle formerly owned by the counts Guidi. At short distance the hermitage of Camaldoli inside of the National Park with his medieval forests and pharmacy, the Roman church and castle of Romena, historic villages like Stia and Pratovecchio, the castle of San Niccolo' and the Etruskan findings of the little votive statues in the lake degli Idoli or the Etruskan altar near the church of the village of Pieve a Socana.

The farmhouse offers confortable rooms with 2, 3 or 4 beds and nice apartments with 2, 5 or 7 beds. All units have a private bathroom, TV and are furnished with the typical and stylish "poor" tuscan furniture.
One apartment is a light-flooded mono and ideal for a couple. It has a bed-/livingroom with a kitchenette and with its two windows it offers a nice view on the valley.
The other one offers one or two double rooms, a bathroom and a very spacious living room with kitchenette with a stylish fireplace and a bedsofa for two persons.
We can offer our guests B & B stays with sweet and salty buffet breakfast or half board stays, enriched by a restaurant with typical tuscan and biological cuisine, with a 5 course dinner (from antipasto up to the sweets) based on our own meat, fresh vegetables from our kitchen-gardens and home
