Abbey of Morrona is an ancient Benedictine monastery whose origins go up again at the end of the eleventh century, from 1870 it is an agricultural firm.
Today the Estate covers a general surface of six hundred hectares, around of which they are destined to vineyard over 90, 30 to olive groves and the remainder depart to woods and reserve of hunting.
In the heart of the countryside and surrounded by vines you will find our farmhouses.
Guests can stay here in the company of excellent wines and immersed in local history, in the maximum calm and reservation.
The villas on the Estate have been carefully restored in complete respect of traditional Tuscan architecture and converted into agriturismos all carefully furnished with original, antique furniture and all the latest modern comforts swimming pools.
The various agriturismos cater for all requests – from the possibility apartments at ‘ La Sughera ' and ‘ La Fornace ' and the villas at ‘Sant'Angiola' and ‘ La Vivaja'.
