A typical Tuscan Rural House just 10 min from Saturnia's Cascades and Spa & Golf Course. Perfect base for exploring Maremma, along the itinerary from Val d'Orcia to Argentario Coast passing through Pitigliano, Sovana and Capalbio (don't miss the Tarots' Garden by Niki de Sainte Phalle). Located on a hilltop with a dramatic panorama over olive groves and vineyards and overlooking the skyline of Mount Argentario, Quercia Rossa offers rooms with ensuite bathroom, TV, DVD, Minibar, wi-fi and safe (air con on request). Antique furniture, Neo-Rennaissance beds, gilded bronze sconces, lamps of Murano crystal, and relics of exotic voyages, coming from the Tuscan villa of the Victorian English traveller, Lady Augusta Belloc give the nature and the place a more delicate and exotic atmosphere. Every morning breakfast is served in the main hall, opened on a garden with lawns, roses and cypresses, for a relaxing start with a full breakfast menu including home made breads, yogurth, tarts, local salumi and cheeses. For guests wishing to take time out from sightseeing in Tuscany, the swimming pool set on the hillside with great views around the valley, is the perfect way to relax. The in-house restaurant prepares rich dinners with a variety of traditional Tuscan dishes all prepared with home grown vegetables and local meats served with a selected Morellino from the vineuards of Scansano.
