Podere Lecceta is an organic family runned farm, certified by Suolo e Salute, located on the beautiful hills of Tuscany. The farmhouse is also certified as bio-ecological by ICEA.
We produce organic extra virgin olive oil and organic fruits. This year (March 2010) , our oil was awarded the first prize as the best organic extra virgin olive oil of Pisa's province.
When you come here, you can ask for tasting it and for harvesting the fruits directly from the trees... it is completely free!
In the ancient stone farm house there are 4 large apartments (3-4-6 beds), restored in typical Tuscan style, each with 1-2 bedrooms, bathroom with shower, and living/kitchen. An apartment on the ground floor is suitable for disabled people.
All apartments include a comfortable kitchen, with refrigerator and freezer, gas cooker with 4 rings, gas oven... and the complete usual equipment. You can prepare your own food or, if you prefer, you can taste good local dishes in some typical restaurants in Chianni, where a special attention is given to our guests.
On the first floor of the house, there is a wide common living with fireplace. A little bookcase is provided with books, guides and sheets containing tourist information on nature and environment, arts and museums, entertainments and sports, etc.
We can accommodate no more than 15 guests, therefore the place is very peaceful and relaxing, even though it is placed in a strategic location not far from several beautiful art towns. Volterra and S. Gimignano are very close (30-35 km), Pisa (40 km), Florence and Siena (80 km) are a little farer.

Services | The swimming pool of 7x12mt is reserved to our guests. It is naturally treated with salt, without chemicals, and equipped with parasols, small tables and deck-chairs. A masonry large stairway makes the access to the pool easier and a sun-shower provides hot water.Near the house, the open air area is equipped with barbecue, wood oven, pergola with chairs and tables, and little playground for children with swing, seesaw and two outdoor musical instruments.
From Podere Lecceta you can reach the sea (40 km) or Casciana Thermal Baths (10 km) where you can find an open air hot thermal swimming pool. Special agreements ensure reductions on the fees of thermal services to our guests.
If you love the nature, you can have beautiful walks around the farm or join guided tours in the area.Not far from the agritourism, you can visit many nice ancient villages where the old traditions are preserved as to farming, cooking and handicrafts. We will be happy to give you every information you need.
