Cemmo in Capo di Ponte, is situated in the middle of Valle Camonica 500 metres above sea -level. Casa Visnenza lies on the boundary of the village and its perimeter walls were once a support for the arch which marked the
village limit with the open countryside.
The section of the Casa Visnenza which was turned into a bed & breakfast once housed a silk- mill since silk-yarn was produced by the family. After restructuring works, the old silk-mill room has become a spacious lounge room with a big fireplace where guests can enjoy breakfast.
On the first floor there are three bedrooms with private bathrooms, one of which has facilities for the handicapped.
The second floor is a luminous attic composed of another three bedrooms with private bathrooms and a sitting room for reading or simply relaxing.
All the rooms are furnished with old family furniture.
For the restructuring works typical local building material was used: stone, brick tiles and wood, trying to use the existing ones.
All the rooms have wonderfull view of the mountains.
Breakfast will be served with local products such as "spongada"- typical sweet bread, biscuits, honey, cheese, salami and home-made cakes and jams.
During the summer months guests can make use of a big garden facing the mountains with a pergola and barbecue facilities.
