This accumulated appreciation of the best of land and sea engendered his building a “vessel on dry land.” Thus was born the Hotel Vis Vis, whose vistas extend down from its dominant hilltop location towards the greens and blues of the Mediterranean, offering its guests light, peace, elegance and freedom in emulation of the first class ships of a now-departed era.
