Our Agriturismo Al Volo del Nibbio is an ancient farmhouse set in 85 private hectares of the Tuscan Apennines, near the attractivetown of Marradi. The owner, an architect, lives in the adjoining hunter’s lodge and personally supervised the farmhouse’s recent restoration, using traditional materials to preserve the original style while installing every modern comfort in two apartments and a communal relaxion area, as well as in the more secluded Casetta (detached house). There is a swimming pool with panoramic views from the 700 mt altitude, a shaded loggia area and tended lawns.
Our Agriturism Al Volo del Nibbio offers its guests three different type of accomodation. You can choose to rent one of our two 4-beds apartments, Poiana and Falco, or our lovely detached house, Casetta (6-beds). Larger families may choose to rent out the whole property, enjoying the secluded atmosphere of our wonderful mountains and the restoring coolness of our pool-with-a-view. Smaller families or group of friends would be offer the possibility to rent one or both apartments and rest or read by the pool, relax in the attached patio, play snooker on an antique billiards table, bake bread in the wood-fired oven or grill dinner to enjoy outside. Detached from the apartments is our Casetta, which enjoys wonderful views on the sorrounding valley and wineyard and is also just a few steps away from the swimming-pool. Groups of 4, 8 or 14 guests are therefore offered the best possible accomodation in one of the few yet undiscovered corners of the Tuscan Appennines, just 90mins from Florence.

Services | Our Poiana and Falco apartments each offer one double and one twin room, together with two bathrooms with hand-decorated tyles and an airy, bright sitting room with kitchenette. They can be rented together or separately and have direct and exclusive access to our vaulted hall with billiards, en-plein-air oven and patio, bext to a big kitchen also situated on the ground floor.
Our Casetta offers our guests one double and two twin bedrooms, one above the other as in a mezzanine and therefore ideal for kids. Two equally nicely decorated bathrooms and a cosy, stone-walled kitchen leading into the adiecent patio give our Casetta an especially welcoming atmosphere.
